The F1 is a 3-way 1600W AES high performance multipurpose passive loudspeaker that has been designed for fixed installations and mobile use. The F1 is an excellent choice when the application calls for high performance and simplicity. A pair of F1 and a single high-power amplifier is a complete sound system capable of reinforcing speech or playing high-level music in indoor and outdoor venues.
The F1 comprises of specially developed LF-MF and HF sections that are a built-in into a compact yet powerful cabinet. The LF section is equipped with two powerful 15-inch woofers that loaded onto a bass horn. This configuration ensures very high output and excellent throw in all applications. The MF section is equipped with a specially designed high efficiency, low distortion 12 inch midrange speaker that is loaded to a proprietary horn to provide superior sound pressure level and excellent midrange clarity from a very compact size. HF section is equipped with a high power 1.4 inch HF driver, that is mounted onto a horn with a nominal coverage of 70° x 50° (H x V) for wide and even coverage. Each transducer has been specifically designed for the application.
A specially designed crossover network integrates all three sections. Hf overload protection is provided for reliable, long term operation. The 70° coverage angle of the F1 is wide enough to provide coverage of an audience when used one-per side yet narrow enough to allow splaying of multiple enclosures without excessive coverage overlap. The flexible F1 suits for indoor and outdoor applications as a stand-alone full-range system or MF/HF speaker in sound reinforcement systems.
